How To Use Jeweler's Rouge By Hand

1) To begin with rub the corner of the block onto the glass where the scratches are, this can be done in a random or circular motion.

2) Next Using a damp cloth work at the scratches and the surrounding area.

3) Use a dry cloth on the area to polish up the scratch.

How to use Jeweler's Rouge using a Polishing Disc

If you are using this method then please remember to keep the glass and the disc cool as excessive heat may cause the glass to distort.

1) For this method you can hold the polishing machine against the compound bar to first get the compound onto the disc before applying to the the glass window or door.

2) Put the disc against the glass allowing the rotation of the disc to do the polishing NOT the pressure that you apply to the machine. Applying lots of pressure may increase the heat and risk distortion.
